Plant diversity of Ghogha coastal area, dist. Bhavnagar

This paper focuses on the advances made in taxonomical distribution and environmental studies plant diversity Ghogha Coastal area of district Bhavnagar state Gujarat. The Gujarat is quantitatively qualitatively rich as it has large number families, genera species. Total 54 species recorded selected under study comprised three subclasses polypetalae, gamopetalae monochlamydae. Subclass polypetalae represented 23 belonging to 18 from 13 were subclass 08 06 families 07 05 fit Dicots dominating over monocot all levels ratio Monocot are 1:6, 1:2.8, 1: 2.6 at family, genus level respectively. Studies distribution, abundance plants, factors governing them few need be taken up priority have a baseline data.
